ReadMitra is a technology platform that connects users for peer-to-peer book sharing. We do not own, control, or manage any listed books or transactions.
All transactions are conducted directly between users. ReadMitra is not a party to any transaction.
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, ReadMitra shall not be liable for:
Book details including category, age suitability, condition, descriptions, and other listing information are provided solely by the listing user. ReadMitra does not independently verify, validate, review, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or correctness of such information.
Users are responsible for reviewing listing details and independently verifying that a book is appropriate for their intended use before requesting, borrowing, lending, or accepting any transaction.
Users should meet in public places and verify identity before exchanges. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their Google account used to access ReadMitra.
Users may communicate via third-party apps such as WhatsApp. These communications are outside ReadMitra’s control.
For GiveAway listings, ownership transfers permanently after handover.
Users are responsible for the content they post, including ratings and listings.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, or harmful behavior.
Our total liability shall be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of courts in India.
We may modify these Terms at any time.
